For more than 25 years, the University of Minnesota Program in History of Science, Technology, and Medicine has ranked among the country’s best. This dynamic, interdisciplinary graduate field studies these areas in their broad cultural context. The field's rapid growth stems from the increasing recognition that science, technology, and medicine are among the most important cultural phenomena of the modern age.
The University of Minnesota Medical School Program in Physical Therapy prepares students from diverse backgrounds with the clinical, professional, and research skills necessary to become primary practitioners. Our graduates bring new knowledge into practice and serve the individual rehabilitation needs of each patient.
As the only mortuary science program in the country housed within a medical school, students take combined coursework in basic and behavioral sciences, business, liberal arts, and mortuary science as they earn their Bachelor of Science in Mortuary Science. By skillfully combining these study areas, we prepare knowledgeable, skilled, and innovative funeral service professionals who are well-prepared to serve bereaved members of their communities in a proficient, dignified, and caring manner.
