Ambulatory Research Center
A part of our Department of Psychiatry, the Ambulatory Research Center (ARC) is improving the treatment of mental disorders by conducting clinical research and educating physicians and other health professionals. ARC is currently studying mood disorders, treatment-resistant depression, eating disorders, chemical dependency, gambling addiction, kleptomania, pediatric ADHD, obsessive compulsive disorder, recall studies, and schizophrenia.

Part of our Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, the Program in Human Sexuality is one of the largest clinical, teaching, research, and advocacy institutions in the world specializing in human sexuality. The program’s research efforts have influenced innovative and effective approaches for treatment of patients’ sexual problems, and include HIV prevention, sexual aggression, compulsive sexual behavior, transgender health, and women’s sexual health.
