Read Full StoryPatty Dickmann is about as Minnesotan as it gets. She grew up here, and went to the University of Minnesota for both her undergraduate degree and Medical School.
When it came time to choose her residency program, Patty interviewed at schools across the country, believing she may finally leave Minnesota behind. But none of the programs she visited could match the feeling of comfort she experienced with the residents and faculty of the University of Minnesota's Psychiatry Department.

Grant is a professor of psychiatry and a member of University of Minnesota Physicians who studies compulsive behaviors and addiction. He co-directs a clinic for Impulse Control Disorders at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview.
