Our mission is to support the research process in A.L.R.T.

  • Our most important, top priority is helping our Principal Investigators (P.I.s) put together applications for sponsored projects which are one of the major sources of revenue in the Medical School.
  • This is the PRE-AWARD portion of the research process.
  • The term "sponsored project" refers to a financial award (grant, contract, or cooperative agreement) from a sponsor to conduct a specified research, training, or service project.
  • Sponsors can be state or federal agencies, foundations, nonprofit groups, or private enterprises such as business and industry.
  • We also support the faculty in many other ways such as travel arrangements, travel expense reimbursement, FedEx shipment, mail, equipment/software purchase, abstract submission, and meeting registration to name a few.
