Dr. Missov received his medical degree from the University of Plovdiv in Bulgaria. He furthered his training in cardiology, interventional cardiology and hemodynamics at the University of Montpellier in France. He also earned a PhD in clinical cardiovascular disease from the University of Montpellier. He went on to complete a post-doctoral heart failure fellowship at the University of California San Francisco, and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Minnesota.

Clinical Interests: Heart failure and transplantation, noninvasive imaging of the heart using echocardiography and nuclear cardiology and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging techniques..
