Research Interests and areas of potential collaboration:
Principal Investigator:  Regulation of hepatic glycogen metabolism in fed and fasted rats.

Co-investigator:  Use of alendronate in the treatment of osteoporosis due to chronic spinal cord  injury.

Co-investigator:  Effect of androgen deprivation for prostate cancer on bone density.

Principal Investigator:  A randomized study of a combination of insulin and Pioglitazone in the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

Co-Investigator:  VA Cooperative Study #465 - Glycemic control and complications in diabetes mellitus type 2
