Susan A. Everson-Rose, Director, Research Core

The Research Core promotes research focused on health disparities and minority health at the University of Minnesota with our Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area partners and provides an integrative “home base” for this work.

The research core has four primary aims:

  • Facilitate development of new research projects that address minority health concerns and health disparities.
  • Develop and nurture a collaborative, integrative, and translational research model focused on minority health and health disparities
  • Oversee an independent research project
  • Disseminate research findings to scientific audiences and to lay audiences, particularly the communities that stand to benefit most from the study findings
