Center for Health Equity 2012 Paid Undergraduate Research Program This program offers paid research positions for promising students from populations underrepresented in research who are interested in pursuing a career in academic medicine. "This award was possible because of the Center for Health Equity sponsorship and support I have received from Dr. Ahluwalia, Dr.Vickers, Kate Barry, and all the CHE staff. • Research skills and experience in clinical and translational science
• Stipend ~ $424/week for a 10-12 week summer research experience with a competitive option to continue paid research during the academic year
• Up to $1,000 in travel funds for outstanding projects
