Planning a CME Event

Application for AMA Category 1 Credit

To receive CME credit for your conference, you should first fill out and submit the Application for AMA Category 1 Credit (Word document). You can save the application to your computer, fill it out, and then follow the directions at the end of the application to submit it. Please allow as much time as possible to work with us on your conference and fill out your application.

Please provide a preliminary budget and a tentative draft of the activity agenda (if known) along with your application.

To help you with the preliminary and final budget, please choose one of the following templates:

  • If you are not expecting to receive External Commercial Support for your activity, use this Budget Template.

  • If you are expecting to receive External Commercial Support for your activity, use this Budget Template, making sure to enter detailed information onto the second tab of the template for tracking purposes.

Any promotional materials need to be approved in advance.

 

Grand Rounds/Regularly Scheduled Conferences

If you are planning a Regularly Scheduled Conference (RSC) activity (this includes Grand Rounds, Journal Clubs and Case Conferences), please complete the Grand Rounds Series Certification Questionnaire and turn into our office for approval. Click to get more information about RSCs.
