Stress Busters: Free Meditation Instruction
Refresh and recharge yourself with an informal hour of meditation and light stretching. Our experienced instructors will guide you through exercises that will leave you feeling physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually rejuvenated. Afterward, you will enter a state of calm, mindful awareness with greater resilience. No prior experience or special clothes necessary. Students, Staff and Faculty are welcome.
Meditation Tuesdays will be held weekly throughout the summer from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Tuesday Stress Busters is held at Grace University Lutheran Church (the corner of Harvard and Delaware Streets).
Student Mindfulness Club
The club is not meeting through the summer. They will host public meditation sessions being fall semester. Go to their website at www.tc.umn.edu/~mindful for more details.

Answering the essential question, “What makes me want to get out of bed in the morning?” becomes even more vital to staying alive as we age and retire. Working On Purpose is designed for people who want to explore alternatives to the conventional notion of retiring from work. Our one-day workshop, facilitated by Mary Jo Kreitzer, will provide clarity around life direction, knowledge and tools to help make conscious life choices as well as the motivation and confidence to help you move forward.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction
Fall Sessions
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is about taking control of our lives, being aware of influences that affect our well-being and health, and finding peace-of-mind and balance in an oftentimes chaotic world. MBSR will teach you to consciously and methodically deal with stress, pain, illness, and the demanding challenges of everyday life.
