Jayne Pederson


Jayne Pederson Community Program Specialist

Jayne Pederson screens prospective participants in the islet transplant clinical trials to determine if they meet the eligibility requirements for the screening study. 

She has worked at the University of Minnesota for 23 years and has 16 years of experience working with solid organ transplant patients and potential living related donors.  For seven years prior to joining the Diabetes Institute for Immunology and Transplantation, Jayne was the Assistant Trial Coordinator for an international diabetes research study, the Renin-Angiotensin System Study (RASS).  Dr. Michael Mauer, Co-Director of Pediatric Nephrology, was the principal investigator for RASS.
