Commitment to the IRACDA program is three years. Scholars receive compensation according to guidelines stated by NIH’s National Institute of General Medical Sciences, the funding agency for IRACDA. Additional funds are available for research and teaching supplies, travel, and presentation support.
A highlight is annual participation at the IRACDA conference, where scholars attend training, career workshops, and develop extended networks for professional growth and support.
