Education

Years 1 & 2

Each year 60 new students join 60 second-year students to begin their medical education on the Duluth Campus. With your classmates, you’ll experience an intimate learning environment that will lead to life-long relationships as you continue on their path through medical school, residency, fellowships and a medical practice.

After two years, you’ll have a variety of options for completing your medical education including the Rural Physician Associate Program (RPAP) or clerkships in Duluth, Minneapolis, or St. Paul.

Years 3 & 4

Required and elective clinical clerkships are administered through the Department of Family Medicine  in the University of Minnesota Medical School, Duluth campus.
