Family Medicine and Community Health Duluth

The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health Duluth is responsible for   providing the clinical medical education and experiences for the first and second year medical students during their two years on the Duluth Campus.  Our faculty and staff work closely with over 300 community and rural physicians to provide quality clinical and didactic experiences for the students. The clinical curriculum is widely enhanced by the lectures, skill development workshops, local and rural preceptorship experiences and student mentoring through the department. Our connections with the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health Twin Cities expand the educational endeavors at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
