Medical School Duluth Application Checklist

Designate University of Minnesota Medical School—Minneapolis/Duluth on AMCAS application.

Receive e-mail with link to program selection site.

Select program at Duluth.

Receive e-mail with link to supplemental application instructions.

Have letters of recommendation sent to AMCAS.

Complete supplemental application form online.

Mail check or money order for $75 payable to University of Minnesota
      Medical School Duluth, unless eligible for AAMC Fee Assistance Program.

Contact admissions office to verify that your application is
      ready for review:  medadmis@d.umn.edu or (218) 726-8511.

If not approved for interviews, receive e-mail notice.

If approved for interviews, receive phone call to schedule.

Come to campus for interviews.

Receive notice of committee decision.

If accepted, return acceptance paperwork and tuition deposit to
      University of Minnesota Medical School Duluth.

Have final official transcripts from all post-secondary schools sent to the
      University of Minnesota Medical School Duluth.

Send completed immunization form to University of Minnesota Medical School Duluth.

Complete the FAFSA.

Receive registration instructions and information about
      the summer welcome/pre-orientation event.

Register for fall classes.

Come to summer welcome/pre-orientation in early June.

Enjoy the summer.

Start medical school classes in late August.
