The University of Minnesota Medical School Duluth gives priority consideration to applicants who are residents of Minnesota and who wish to become family medicine physicians in a rural setting or American Indian community. Other applicants who demonstrate a high potential and motivation for practicing medicine in Minnesota or American Indian communities will also be considered for admission.
