Joycelyn Dorscher, M.D.


Joy Dorscher Joycelyn Dorscher, M.D., currently serves as Director of the Center of American Indian & Minority Health at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Dorscher also holds an assistant professorship at the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. She is a 1994 University of Minnesota Medical School graduate and completed a family practice residency at St. John's Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minn.

Dr. Dorscher currently is President of the Association of American Indian Physicians (AAIP), the largest organization of Indian physicians in the country. In addition, she is a member of numerous boards and committees as an advocate for American Indian health and education.
