Linda Perkowski, Ph.D.


Linda Perkowski Linda Perkowski, Ph.D., is currently the associate dean for Curriculum and Evaluation at the University of Minnesota Medical School. She is an associate professor of Family Medicine. Her passions in medical education include curriculum and faculty development; performance based assessment and program evaluation. She is past chair for the Southern Group on Educational Affairs and a founding board member of the Association for Standardized Patient Educators. She received her B.S. in psychology; her M.S. in clinical psychology; and her doctorate in Preventive Medicine and Community Health. Perkowski has been involved in undergraduate and graduate medical education at four medical schools during the past three decades. Her research interests and professional focus has been on faculty development, curriculum evaluation, and standardized patients. She has conducted workshops locally, nationally and internationally in the areas of teaching, learning, and standardized patients.
