Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship

Deadline: December 31, 2009.
Interview dates: January 15 and 22, 2010.  The University of Minnesota Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship, launched July 1, 2008, is a fully accredited, clinical program, sponsored by the departments of family medicine and medicine and the University of Minnesota Medical Center (UMMC), Fairview.
The program accepts two fellows per year. Applicants must have completed or be enrolled in an ACGME-accredited family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, or medicine/pediatrics residency. Training occurs primarily at the UMMC, Fairview Riverside and University campuses. Additional rotations occur at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, Regions Hospital, and Walker Methodist Health Center. Read a program overview.
