Assistant Professor Director, Center of American Indian and Minority Health Education MD, University of Minnesota University of Minnesota St. John’s Hospital Family Medicine Residency Bio Dorscher directs the University of Minnesota Center of American Indian and Minority Health (CAIMH), one of three Native American Centers of Excellence for health professions education as designated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. CAIMH exists to empower and engage American Indian youth in the pursuit of medical careers. In 2011, Dorscher was named a Duluth YWCA Woman of Distinction for her work empowering youth to pursue medical careers.
