Bio

Peterson's research focuses on diabetes, chronic disease management, and informatics in primary care. He has been PI/site-PI on many NIH-funded studies, including ACCORD, TRANSLATE, and the creation of a national electronic Primary Care Research Network (ePCRN). He currently directs the AHRQ PBRN Resource Center. Peterson is a fellow of AAFP and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a diplomate of ABFM.
