Associate Professor Director, Medical Student Education Expertise Medical student education, international health Education MD, University College Dublin MPH, University of Minnesota Post-grad training in general practice, palliative med, and psych in Ireland Bio Following medical school and residency in Dublin, Ireland, Power moved to the U.S. He currently directs the department's medical student education activities, including the Family Medicine Clerkship, and sees patients at Bethesda Clinic. He completed a fellowship in academic medicine and focuses his research efforts on medical student education. Power’s medical interests include patient care and clinical teaching. In 2012, he received the University of Minnesota Award for Outstanding Contributions to Postbaccalaureate, Graduate, and Professional Education.
