Clinical Program Advisors
Second-year medical students must select a clinical program advisor who will serve as a source of information regarding curriculum and scheduling. Your clinical program advisor will assist with your specialty decision-making and serve as a mentor, role model, resource, and advocate for you.
Specialty Advisors
In addition, you are free to select one or more specialty advisors. Specialty advisors can provide you information about their department specialty including location and length of residency programs, fellowship opportunities, skill sets needed, and practice options.
Our faculty are pleased to serve in this regard for interested students. Advisors are available to write letters of recommendation, depending on the amount of contact you have and their knowledge of your clinical capabilities and research projects.
