Broadway Family Medicine Steps In During Crisis

North Minneapolis was devastated by a tornado May 22, 2011, rendering hundreds homeless and damaging many businesses.

Broadway Family Medicine, home to our North Memorial Family Medicine Residency, serves the neighborhood hardest hit.

Though access to the area has been limited and other community clinics in the neighborhood have been forced to close, Broadway Family Medicine remains open and is providing patient care.

Connecting Families and Friends

The clinic has opened its doors to people to use lobby computers and charge their cell phones, allowing them to keep in touch with family and friends.

Connecting to Community Resources

Social workers and front desk staff have been listening to patients, fielding calls, and sharing resources to help those affected get through the crisis.
