Michael Miner, PhD, appeared on WCCO news to discuss the sexual offender registry on May 27, 2011, in a segment titled “Sex-Offender Laws Keep Minn. Man ‘Down’ 17 Years After.” Walter Bockting, PhD, served on the Institute of Medicine committee that authored a report encouraging researchers to proactively engage lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people in health studies and collect data on these populations to identify and better understand health conditions that affect them.
