Primary Research Themes: Smoking cessation in ethnic minorities and underserved populations; pharmacokinetics of nicotine metabolism and pharmacotherapy; neuroimaging of nicotine dependence.

Education Activities: Teaching and mentoring of medical students, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and junior faculty.
