Biography
Dr. Benson is Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He graduated from Vanderbilt University Medical School and completed training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics here at the University of Minnesota. After a year as Chief Resident, he joined the University of Minnesota faculty. Dr. Benson's interests include primary care for adults and children, the practice and teaching of evidence-based medicine, and medicine on the internet. Dr. Benson is the Program Director for the Internal Medicine-Pediatric Residency Program.
