Biography
Dr. Howe is Board certified in Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and also a Fellow of the American Society of Hematology. Dr. Howe earned his baccalaureate from Union College in New York, and his M.D. degree from Harvard University. He completed his residency fellowship in Hematology and chief residency at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics. After three years as Assistant Clinical Director of the National Cancer Institute, he joined the faculty at the University of Minnesota. From 1986-1992, Dr. Howe was the Division Director for General Internal Medicine. In 1992 he was appointed as Associate Dean for Faculty and Graduate Affairs and relinquished the position as General Medicine's Director. Dr. Howe served as Interim Division Director of General Internal Medicine from 1998-2001. Dr. Howe's interests include primary care, internal medicine, and hematology.
