Program Directory

All programs at the University of Minnesota are required to be Board of Regents approved before they begin recruiting trainees into the program.

This page contains a list of University of Minnesota Sponsored and Board of Regents (BOR) programs associated with each department.  If available, a link to the program's website is provided at the program name, and an e-mail link is provided at the Program Coordinator's name.  Please contact the individual programs for further information.

Programs that are BOR approved (both ACGME accredited and non-accredited) must maintain the required personnel data on their residents and fellows in the Residency Management Suite (RMS).

MMCGME Services will not add a program to RMS without prior approval from the GME Office, to insure that only BOR approved programs are listed in RMS.  It is critical that the naming convention of the program be consistent throughout our various information systems.  For example, the ACGME approved program name determines what is entered on the UM new program application; which becomes the UM academic program plan name; which is then entered into RMS; and what must be listed on the certificate of completion issued to the trainee upon successful completion of the program.
