Institution Responsibilities: Program Oversight

As the sponsoring institution, the University of Minnesota Medical School must ensure the effectiveness of each program in meeting its objectives. The Medical School accomplishes this is through individual program internal reviews conducted by the Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC), consistent with requirements of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Internal Reviews are conducted on each accredited program midpoint between the Effective Date and next RRC Site Visit identified on the RRC letter.
