Institution Responsibilities: Confirmation of Receipt of the Program Manual

Policy
Programs are required to have their trainees sign a document stating that they have received the Program Policy Manuals on an annual basis. The Liaison Committee for Medical Education (LCME) requires that the Medical School is able to confirm that trainees have received the appropriate policy manuals.  These documents must be kept in the trainee’s file in the event the Medical School is required to demonstrate compliance during an LCME site visit.
