Student Services: Legal Services

Trainees enrolled in a degree seeking program (Graduate School classifications 9554, 9559, 9569, and 9583) are eligible to access University Student Legal Services.  They can assist you in dealing with legal issues, as well as educate you about your legal rights and responsibilities.  Many of the services are free or charge a nominal fee.

Trainees that are appointed solely  in a GME training program do not pay tuition and student service fees (9555, 9556, 9568 and 9582) and are not eligible to access University Student Legal Services.  They may contact the Resident Assistance Program (RAP) at 651-430-3383 to obtain a referral for legal services.
