Benefits: Stipends

Trainees will be paid a yearly stipend as stated in the Residency/Fellowship Agreement and in your Program Manual.  Trainees will receive a paycheck biweekly.  Trainees are encouraged to use the direct?deposit system, as paychecks have the potential of being lost or delayed in the mail.  Paychecks are mailed or credited to bank accounts of those using the direct-deposit system, on the pay dates listed below.

2008-2009 Pay Dates

July 2, 16, 30               November 5, 19           March 11, 25

August 13, 27               December 3, 17, 31     April 8, 22

September 10, 24         January 14, 28              May 6, 20

October 8, 22              February 11, 25           June 3, 17

All incoming residents/fellows who start on June 17 will be paid for 10 days on July 10^th.

The University of Minnesota payroll has a 10-day delayed start system.  All current trainees will be paid on pay dates as listed above.
