Benefits: Minnesota Medical Association Membership

The Minnesota Medical Association (MMA) is the largest professional association for physicians in Minnesota with more than 11,000 members.  MMA represents physicians in all specialties and all practice settings. The membership agreement between MMA and the University of Minnesota Physicians provides membership for the U of M trainees at no cost.

For 150 years, the Minnesota Medical Association has been “medicine’s voice in Minnesota.”  In today’s changing health care environment, it is imperative that physicians have a strong voice. MMA provides a unified voice for all Minnesota physicians.  We encourage you to become actively involved in your profession’s association and help MMA shape its positions.
