Disciplinary/Grievance Procedures: Sexual Harassment & Discrimination Reporting

Residents/fellows who believe they have been subjected to sexual harassment or any other form of discrimination prohibited by University policy are encouraged to contact their program director or department chair.  It may be possible to resolve a complaint informally through this process.  Complaints may also be pursued through the Medical School Dean’s Office, phone 612-626-4949, or the University of Minnesota Office of Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action, phone 612-624-9547.  The University has a responsibility to investigate complaints of sexual harassment or other discrimination and to take appropriate corrective or disciplinary action, either through formal or informal channels.
