University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview
The University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, is among the most respected teaching institutions in the nation.  As the core teaching hospital for the University of Minnesota Medical School, the medical center focuses on patient care which aligns with the Medical School's mission of research and education.  Located on two campuses - one on the east bank and one on the west bank of the Mississippi River near downtown Minneapolis - these sites offer a wide array of comprehensive services.  Our residents and fellows obtain the bulk of their clinical, educational, and research experience at this site.

Abbott Northwestern
Abbott is the largest not-for-profit hospital in the Twin Cities area providing comprehensive health care for more than 200,000 patients and their families from the Twin Cities and throughout the Upper midwest each year.

Children's Hospitals & Clinics of Minnesota - Minneapolis/St. Paul
Children's is the eighth largest children's health care organization in the U.S. and the largest pediatric health care organization in the Midwest.  Children's has 319 staffed beds at its two campuses in Minneapolis and St. Paul.  An independent, not-for-profit health care system, Children's provides care through over 13,000 inpatient visits and 200,000 ER and other outpatient visits each year.

Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare
Gillette is an independent not-for-profit hospital that has been at the fore front of medical technology, treatment, education, and research for children with disabilities or complex medical needs for more than 100 years.  Their programs emphasize services for infants, toddlers, children, teens and their families and have now been extended to provide a lifetime of care.

Hennepin County Medical Center
HCMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center, the 3rd largest hospital in the Twin Cities, and one of the largest in the region recording more than 356,000 patient visits to its primary and specialty care clinics, and more than 95,000 patient visits to its ER annually.  HCMC, located in downtown Minneapolis, also serves as one of the main training sites for residents and fellows.

Methodist Hospital
Methodist is a 426-bed facility recognized as an area leader in cancer care, cardiovascular services, maternity care and neuro-rehabilitation medicine.  This hospital, with over 960 physicians on its medical staff, is located in the western suburbs of Minneapolis.  Methodist is a primary training site for 1 of 6 of our Family Medicine Residency Programs.

North Memorial Medical Center
North Memorial is located in the northwestern suburbs of Minneapolis, this hospital has over 700 care providers and continues to be a recognized, stable, yet innovative leader in Minneosota's health care industry.  North Memorial is a primary training site for 1 of 6 of our Family Medicine Residency Programs.

Regions Hospital
Regions is a leading, full-service, private hospital providing outstanding care with special programs in heart, women's services, cancer, surgery, digestive care, senior's services, behavioral health, burn, emergency and trauma.  Regions is located in downtown St. Paul and services as one of the main training sites for our residents and fellows.

St. John's Hospital
This 184-bed full service, acute care facility, located in the northeast suburbs of St. Paul, offers a wide variety of diagnostic and therapeutic services including ER, maternity care, heart care, orthpaedics, cancer care, radiology, and breast care.  St. John's is also home to 1 of 6 of our Family Medicine Residency Programs.

St. Joseph's Hospital
Minnesota's first hospital, located in downtown St. Paul, St. Joseph's is the largest of the Healtheast hospitals and is licensed for 401 beds, has a 24 hour ER and provides a full range of medical, surgical, diagnostic, and rehabilitative services as well as mental health and chemical dependency treatment programs.  St. Joseph's is the primary training site to 1 of 6 of our Family Medicine Residency Programs.

United Hospital
United is the largest hospital in the Twin Cities east metro (located in downtown St. Paul) providing a rull range of health care services to more than 200,000 people each year.

Minneapolis VA Health Care System (MVAHCS) 
The Minneapolis VA has a 256 acute care diagnostic and treatment beds, as well as 104 beds in an extended care unit.  This facility offers a full range of outpatient services and provides state-of-the-art medical care.  The Minneapolis VA also serves as one of the main training sites for our residents as fellows.
