Conduct research ranging from the development and testing of new ideas in the laboratory, to the final stages of testing promising new treatments in human clinical trials*.

*Clinical Trials: In the search for methods to improve and refine future patient care, investigational new drugs are offered to qualifying volunteers. Cancer patients gain access to new research before it is widely available.
