Purvi Gada, MD


Dr. Gada

Dr. Purvi Gada received her MBBS degree from Topiwala National Medical College and BYL Nair Charitable Hospital in Mumbai, India in 1997.  She did an internship at the same institution.  In 2000 she embarked on a series of observerships in Hematology and Oncology (VA Medical Center, SUNY-Buffalo Medical-Dental Consortium), Gastroenterology (VA Medical Center, SUNY-Buffalo) and Internal Medicine (SUNY-Buffalo, Buffalo, NY).  Dr. Gada completed an internship and residency at SUNY-Buffalo from 2001-2004.  She was Board-certified in Internal Medicine in 2004.  From 2004-2007 she was a fellow in Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation at the University of Minnesota working on research in the laboratory of Dr. Jeff Miller and also working on a clinical research project with Dr. Linda Burns. Dr. Gada became an Assistant Professor of Medicine-Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation at the University of Minnesota in 2007.
