Biography
Dr. Hurley received his M.D. degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School (Madison) in 1987. He did a residency in Internal Medicine and was Chief Medical Resident at the University of Wisconsin from 1987-1991. He was a Fellow in the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship program at the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis), 1991-1995. Dr. Hurley was Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1990. He is also Board certified in Hematology (1994) and Oncology (1995). Additionally, he has an interest in health care and oncology in the developing world and is board certified in Tropical Medicine and Travelers Health (2008). Dr. Hurley is a member of the Cancer Care group at Regions Hospital.
 
Research Interests
Dr. Hurley’s clinical interests focus on solid tumor oncology as well as general hematology and coagulation disorders.
