Brian L. McClune, DO


Dr. McClune

Dr. McClune is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation joining as faculty in September 2006. Dr. McClune completed his DO degree at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000. After finishing an Internal Medicine residency at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2003, he went on to complete a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2006 with an emphasis in Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation, having served as Chief Fellow his last year. Dr. McClune's clinical interest is in the treatment of hematological malignancies using stem cell transplantation. He has particular interest in transplantation for myelodysplastic syndromes, haploidentical transplantation, and in advancing supportive care approaches for patients undergoing the rigors of the transplant process.
