Anne Blaes, MD


Dr. Blaes Dr. Anne Blaes graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1998 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences.   In the summer of 1996, while still an undergraduate, she undertook a laboratory research experience at Memorial Sloan-Kettering in New York where she initiated and completed a project involving prostate-specific membrane antigen.  In summer 1999 Dr. Blaes volunteered to provide health care assistance to local villagers in San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala.  She received her M.D. degree from Loyola University Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine in 2002.  She performed her residency at the University of Minnesota and was Chief Resident in Internal Medicine in 2005-2006.  In 2006 Dr. Blaes joined the fellowship program in Hematology/Oncology/Transplantation at the University of Minnesota.
