Satya Bommakanti, MD

Dr. Bammakanti

Dr. Satya Bommakanti received a BS in Zoology from the Medical College of Wisconsin (Madison) in 1999.  She then attended Tulane University (New Orleans), earning a MS in Pharmacology in 2000.  Dr. Bommakanti attended medical school at Tulane and did her residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin.  She has two manuscripts in preparation that report on research conducted during her residency:  “Efalizumab-Associated Lymphoproliferative Disorder” and “Treatment of Hematologic Malignancies in Pregnancy: Two Case Reports and a Review of the Literature.”  Dr. Bommakanti began her fellowship in Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation at the University of Minnesota in 2008.
