Patrick Foy, MD


Dr. Foy Dr. Patrick Foy received his MD from Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in 2004.  While in medical school he traveled to Guatemala to participate in an International Immersion Program performing rural medicine in western Guatamala health care clinics.  He also volunteered on a weekly basis at a Free Clinic (Community Health Chicago) for the uninsured during this time.  Dr. Foy’s residency in Internal Medicine was performed at the University of Minnesota.  During his residency he was involved in a research project entitled “Efficacy of galactomannan antigen assay for detection of invasive aspergillosis in bone marrow transplant patients.”  Dr. Foy began his fellowship in the Division of Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation at the University of Minnesota in 2007.
