Sekwon Jang, MD


Dr. Jang Dr. Jang received his MD from Seoul National University, South Korea in 2001.  He then served as a public health doctor providing primary care to an average 300 patients monthly (obligatory military service from 2001-2004).  He did his residency in Internal Medicine at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA from 2004-2007.  During his residency he also served as the lead investigator on a project “Depression in Cancer Patients: Prevalence and Its Relationship with Quality of Life.”  During his training Dr. Jang also did volunteer work that helped to develop his interest in palliative care/quality of life issues.  Dr. Jang joined the Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation fellowship program at the University of Minnesota in 2007.
