Gautam Jha, MBBS


Dr. Jha Dr. Jha received his MBBS from Terna Medical College, India in 1998.  He came to the US in 1999 and joined the Master’s program in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Rhode Island.  His thesis concerned the metabolism of food borne pro-carcinogen 2 amino-alpha-carboline (Master’s granted 2002).  Dr. Jha then joined the Internal Medicine residency program at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Bronx, New York (2004).  He continued his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Tennessee, Memphis (2005-2007). Dr. Jha began his fellowship in the Division of Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation at the University of Minnesota in 2007.
