Tanawat Jirakulaporn, MD


Dr. Jirakulaporn Dr. Jirakulaporn received his MD in 1995 at Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand.  He subsequently received his PhD in Molecular Cell Biology at Washington University School of Medicine in 2004.  As a graduate student he investigated the role of transmembrane zinc transports, such as ZnT-1, in the regulation of intracellular signal transduction.  He then entered the Internal Medicine residency program at the University of Hawaii (2004-2007).  Dr. Jirakulaporn began his fellowship in Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation at the University of Minnesota in 2007.
