Mary Ninan, MBBS

Dr. Ninan received her MBBS from Trichur Medical College, Ernakulam, India in 1999.  She began her residency in Internal Medicine at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Cochin, India in 1999, but left it to pursue further studies in the United States.  After employment as a research fellow at the Centers for Disease Control in 2002-2003 she began her residency at Atlanta Medical Center (in 2003).  During the period of her residency Dr. Ninan also conducted a retrospective data analysis to identify patterns of platelet engraftment in autologous hematopoietic cell transplantation patients (performed at Emory University).  Dr. Ninan began her fellowship in the Division of Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation at the University of Minnesota in 2007.
