Melhem Solh, MD

Dr. Solh

Dr. Melhem Solh graduated from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon in 1999 with a BS in Chemistry.  He received his MD from the same institution in 2003.  He performed his residency in Internal Medicine at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center.  He simultaneously pursued a PhD in Cancer Biology.  During this time he was the principal investigator in a clinical retrospective trial to investigate whether statins affect the expression of estrogen/progesterone receptors in breast cancer patients (under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Siddique) and the principal investigator on a clinical research study concerning the outcome of synchronous and metachronous breast cancer (under the supervision of Dr. Marc Feldman).  Dr. Solh entered the Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation fellowship program at the University of Minnesota in 2008.
