Dr. Hengbing Wang graduated from Bejing Medical University, China in 1999.He then undertook a graduate program at the University of Illinois at Chicago, graduating with an M.S. in math and computer science in 2002.At the same institution, Dr. Wang worked on basic biomedical research and data analysis to understand the role of selenium in cancer prevention by using various molecular biology techniques prior to beginning his residency in Internal Medicine at John Stroger Hospital of Cook County, Chicago, IL.Dr. Wang entered the fellowship program in Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation at the University of Minnesota in 2009.
