Mary Nick, MPAS, PA-C, MT(ASCP)


Mary Nick

Mary Nick, MPAS, PA-C, MT(ASCP) received her undergraduate degree in Bacteriology and Public Health from Washington State University.  Following an additional year of focused study in Medical Technology, she was certified as a Medical Technologist (MT) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.  During her 16 years as a MT she was employed in several roles including STAT Laboratory Supervisor, and Hematology specialist, at a Seattle lab working for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. She was also a Medical Technology Student Educator for Swedish Hospital in Seattle and a Progenitor Cell Laboratory Technologist at the BMT program at the University of Nebraska.  Mary graduated with distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies and joined the Division of Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation in October 2004.
