Kompal Marwah, MBBS
Dr. Kompal Marwah graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Mangalore, India in 2002. KMC, Mangalore is consistently ranked one of the top five medical institutions in India. She subsequently went on to pursue her one-year rotational clinical program at Rajindra Hospital, Patiala University, Punjab, India. Her interest to explore further led her to the Biomedical Laboratory Science research MS program at San Francisco State University.
Dr. Kompal is excited to join the observership program in Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation Department, University of Minnesota. She strongly believes that the program will give her an opportunity to learn and interact with the finest while helping her gain US clinical experience in a university hospital setting. Moreover, her future goal aligns well with several faculty members who are practicing medicine while working simultaneously on research projects. Dr. Kompal is looking forward to apply her medical knowledge and position herself for a challenging medical residency in Internal Medicine.
In her spare time, Kompal enjoys movies, cooking and basketball.
